Lavel Marie Photography LLC is a wedding & lifestyle photography company from Albuquerque, NM. The scale of your celebration doesn’t matter, as these photographers are focused on documenting the various forms of love they find, however they appear. Whether in a candid exchange or a posed, sweet, moment, they want to capture the emotional atmosphere of the day.

Lavel is first and foremost a child of the King! After that, she is a wife, mom, daughter,  sister, friend, and photographer.  Lavel went to NMSU & UNM to become a music teacher, but after 3 years decided it wasn't for her. She switched things up and pursued a career in the travel industry for 7 years. Lavel has always had a love for photography. She learned photography on film and in a dark room in high school.  After Lavel had her first child, she decided to be a stay-at-home mom and pursue her dream of becoming a photographer. This is when Lavel Marie Photography was birthed! Her love and passion for photography grew from that point on and now she runs a successful photography company in Albuquerque, NM.  She has been a photographer for over 17 years.

Lavel loves to describe her style as moody & bright.  She is a fun-loving boss babe and is such an encouragement to others. You can view her work from major publishers online and in print. Lavel loves her job and looks forward to serving others with beautiful images. No matter the occasion in your life, she hopes to be able to tell your story.

Lavel met her husband online and 19 years later they are still madly in love.  They have two beautiful fun-loving kids, that are indeed the light of her life.  Lavel is half Dominicana and very proud of it.  Lavel loves to travel, especially to the Caribbean & Mexico each year. She sings and plays the keys on the worship team at Uptown Church. Her favorite food is probably New Mexican food, if you know, you know!
